What Makes a Kitchen Modern?

Modern kitchens typically use flat fronts, mixed materials, integrated lighting, islands and tall storage. The focus is capacity and clean geometry rather than decorative handles or classic panel doors.

Why 87 cm base units matter

Standard base units are often lower. MK18 uses 87 cm extra-high bases, which adds about 15% internal volume on the same footprint. That helps families, taller users and anyone who wants more storage without a larger kitchen. Worktop height is set with you at design stage.

Storage planning

We plan walk-in or corner pantries, tall units, island storage and appliance garages around how you cook. MK18_M can include floating bases and hidden pantry layouts where the space allows.

Finishes and colours

Common choices include Rovere Carbone and other stabilised woods, Kris Glass, Dekton® worktops and mixed metal accents. We select finishes for light, use and Cyprus humidity during consultation.
